RICHIE BURRIESCI DOES THE VOICE OF LT. COLUMBO BUT CANNOT DO TRUMP ERGO THE PRESIDENT IS SPEECHLESS.
It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. President, and you have a beautiful family. You know, sir, I was all ready to be on your “Celebrity Apprentice” and ah, you went off and become the POTUS! I gotta tell you sir, I didn’t expect that! My wife and I had lunch at your restaurant in Trump Tower having a yen for chili and seafood. I asked your waitress if you serve crabs? She tells me, “We serve everybody!” So, I know whatever they say about you, Mr. President, is simply as you put it, fake news! So I sit down and ask the waitress how much a cup of coffee is and she tells me $2.00!  I say $2.00! I remember a cup of coffee was 15 cents!  Do you get refills?  She tells me "yes! You get refills" well, how much is a refill?  She says that refills are free!  I tell her to forget the coffee and give me a refill!  I understand you like playing golf; you ought to do what I do. Bring an extra pair of pants just in case you get a hole in one! You know it's a funny thing ...
I like a good cigar not necessarily a Cuban cigar, you know they're kinda hard to get! That reminds me the time I met with a Cuban diplomat and asked him if I could have a Cuban cigar and he asks me if I was Russian! I tell him no, I'm not Russian I'm going to take my time! That's the only time I could remember I had to arrest myself for attempted murder!   After he told me that my jokes were killing him!

Lieutenant Columbo’s Raincoat: The Unassuming Icon of Detective Style

The world of detective fiction is filled with sartorial legends. From Sherlock Holmes’ deerstalker cap to Inspector Gadget’s trench coat, certain articles of clothing have become synonymous with the characters who wear them. But perhaps no single piece of attire is as iconic, as deceptively simple, or as deeply embedded in the identity of its wearer as Lieutenant Columbo’s rumpled raincoat. This isn't just a piece of clothing; it's a character in its own right, a silent partner to one of television's most beloved detectives. More Than a Garment: A Symbol of Columbo’s Genius At first glance, the raincoat is a visual representation of Columbo himself. It’s unassuming, a bit shabby, and appears to have seen better days. It's a worn-out garment for a worn-out detective, or so the murderers he pursues would believe. The raincoat is the perfect disguise, a key component of Columbo’s brilliant psychological strategy. It allows him to appear harmless, bumbling, and entirely non...

Columbo Episodes List

The Enduring Legacy of Lieutenant Columbo: A Complete Episode Guide For over three decades, Lieutenant Columbo, with his rumpled trench coat, perpetually lit cigar, and disarmingly absent-minded demeanor, captivated audiences. 1 He wasn't the sharp-suited detective with a gun, but a master of psychological manipulation, always one step ahead of the arrogant, wealthy murderers he pursued. His signature phrase, "Just one more thing...," became synonymous with the moment the noose tightened around the killer. This guide delves into every single episode of the beloved detective series, from its experimental beginnings to its triumphant return in the later years. Get ready to revisit the iconic cases, the brilliant guest stars, and the subtle brilliance that made Columbo a television legend. The Pilot Films (1968-1971) Before becoming a regular series, Columbo had two highly successful pilot films that set the stage for the show's unique "inverted detective story...

Where Is Columbo's Car Now

The Curious Case of Columbo's Peugeot: A Detective Story in Its Own Right Lieutenant Columbo. The name conjures images of a rumpled raincoat, a cigar, and, of course, his trusty Peugeot 403 convertible. This seemingly unremarkable car became an iconic part of the show, a silent partner in Columbo's tireless pursuit of justice. But what became of this automotive legend after the cameras stopped rolling? Buckle up, because the fate of Columbo's Peugeot is a detective story in itself, filled with twists, turns, and a touch of mystery. From Screen Presence to Surplus: The Peugeot used in Columbo wasn't always destined for television stardom. It was a secondhand 1959 model, likely purchased by the show's prop department for its unassuming appearance, perfectly mirroring Columbo's disheveled charm. Throughout the series' run (1968-2003), the car became a beloved fixture, its dented bumpers and faded paint a constant reminder of Columbo's "just one more ...
